Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1,000 g strawberries, ready prepared
- 500 g rhubarb, ready prepared
- 500 g gelling sugar
- 2 large limes

Wash the strawberries and remove the greens, peel off the rhubarb skin (strips), and trim off the ends. Chop both into small pieces and heat in a saucepan until simmering. Add the gelling sugar, quickly blending about two-thirds of it with a hand blender. Now add the lime juice and bring to a boil with the 3:1 gelling sugar for about 3 minutes. Caution: Stir constantly! Immediately fill prepared, hygienically sound twist-off jars to the brim, seal, and turn the jars upside down for about 5 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool and store in a cool, dark place.
