Strawberry salad with Harzer cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 80 g iceberg lettuce
  • 200 g strawberries, ripe
  • 125 g cheese, Harzer cheese (sour milk cheese)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 slice(s) bread(s), small (wholemeal bread, 50g each)

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

low-calorie and spicy salad

Wash the iceberg lettuce, drain well, and tear into bite-sized pieces. Arrange on two plates. Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and slice them. Arrange the cheese on top of the salad. Thinly slice the cheese and arrange it on top of the salad. Whisk the vinegar with mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth, then stir in the oil. Pour the marinade over the salad and serve with the slices of bread. Tip: Instead of whole-grain bread, you can also serve two slices of crispbread per person. The calorie count will barely change.
