Strawberry – Semifrozen

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 150 g natural yogurt
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes

Wash and drain the strawberries; reserve a few good-looking berries for garnishing, pick the rest from the stems and puree them with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice. Mix the yogurt and fold it into the strawberry puree. Pour the cream into a stainless steel bowl, cover, and freeze for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form, fold it into the strawberry cream, and leave it in the freezer for another 2 hours to set, or whisk every half hour during this time to keep it smooth. Serve the strawberry cream on the plate, garnish with the remaining strawberries, and, if desired, with whipped cream.
