Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bread(s) (wheat breadsticks)
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 250 g onion(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard
  • 1 tsp, heaped ketchup
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. marjoram
  • e.g. chopped parsley
  • some fat, soft
  • some garlic powder
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

with minced meat filling

Cut the loaves of bread lengthwise and hollow out the insides. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat. Finely chop the onions, add them, and sauté. Then add the ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, marjoram, and parsley. Sprinkle half of the breadcrumbs on top and mix everything well. Add the egg and mix this well. Spread the minced meat mixture into the loaves and put them back together. Place the loaves individually on aluminum foil. Mix a little softened fat with a teaspoon of garlic powder and spread it over the loaves. Wrap the loaves completely in aluminum foil and bake at 225°C for 25 minutes. When serving, cut into 2 cm thick slices.
