Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 large potatoes
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 onion(s)
- 70 g bacon
- salt and pepper
- Spice mix (minced meat spice)
- 1 bag of cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
with crispy cheese topping
Wash the potatoes, halve them, and carefully scoop out the insides with a paring knife. Cut the potatoes into small pieces and fry them with the finely chopped onion and bacon cubes. Add the minced meat and fry everything thoroughly. Season with spices and sour cream to taste. Place the prepared potatoes in a baking dish and fill with the minced meat mixture. Bake in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for a further 10 minutes. The baking time depends on the size of the potatoes and whether you prefer them firmer or softer. You can cover the potatoes with baking paper during cooking if you prefer them less crispy.
