Stuffed, baked Vienna sausages

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 pairs of Vienna sausages or 2 large curry sausages
  • ½ can corn
  • BBQ sauce
  • 6 tbsp, sautéed onions or onions
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • some curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Very tasty and quick to make

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut deep cuts lengthwise into the sausages with a knife. It’s best to run your index finger along the resulting pocket afterward. Place the sausages on a baking sheet. Place the corn in the pockets. Cover with BBQ sauce. Sprinkle curry powder over the top and scatter onions or fried onions on top. Halve the cheese slices and place them on top of the sausages. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Serve with salad and bread, including low-carb bread.
