Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken schnitzels
  • 8 slices of raw ham
  • 8 slices of Emmental cheese
  • 8 rosemary sprigs
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roasted chicken breast

Wash and dry the schnitzels, and place them between cling film. Season the meat with salt and pepper, top each with two slices of cheese and two slices of ham, roll up, and cut in half. Secure each roll with toothpicks and place upright, cut side down, in an oiled baking dish. Place a small rosemary sprig in the center of each roll and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 20 minutes. If you’d like sauce, I recommend adding Marsala sauce with bacon.
