Stuffed Croissants Ala Amaryllis
The perfect stuffed croissants ala amaryllis recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough:
- 520 g Flour
- 120 ml Lukewarm milk
- 120 ml Lukewarm water
- 60 ml Oil
- 1 Pck. Dry yeast
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Egg yolks for brushing
- 1 Protein
Filling:
- 250 g Minced meat
- 2 medium sized Onions
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- 8 Kräuter, TK
- Finely chopped parsley
Tip:
- You can also vary the filling. For example with feta and spinach. Or sucuck and tomato. Or just cheese. There are no limits to the imagination.
- Make a smooth and non-sticky dough from the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes.
- In the meantime, prepare the filling.
- Fry the onions in a little oil and add the minced meat. Add tomato paste and fry a little. Now season to taste. and let cool on a plate.
- PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 200 DEGREES UNDER HEAT !!!
- Shape the dough into small balls.
- Roll out this round and place the filling on the lower side.
- Roll up carefully and tightly. and shape into a croissant.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Now do the same with the rest.
- When all the croissants are formed, let rise again briefly for about 15 minutes.
- Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle some sesame / black cumin.
- Now bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
