Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg minced meat, mixed or beef
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 1 bread roll, soaked and squeezed
- 2 eggs
- 3 eggs, hard-boiled
- 6 slices of cooked ham
- 6 slices of Gouda
- Spice(s), to taste
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours
Knead the minced meat with spices, salt, pepper, 2 eggs, a squeezed-out bread roll, onions, and diced garlic. Roll out the mixed minced meat on cling film to a thickness of about 1 to 1.5 cm, top with the ham, Gouda, and boiled eggs. Roll up from the longer side, press down firmly, and place seam-down in a roasting pan or casserole dish. Bake at 150°C (convection oven) for about 1 1/2 hours. In summer, we like to serve it with pasta salad or potato salad. It also tastes great sliced with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and remoulade or ketchup on toast.
