Stuffed mushrooms

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 large mushrooms
  • 1 small red bell pepper(s), diced
  • 1 bunch of spring onions, cut into rings
  • 1 pack of low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup of cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the mushrooms and twist out the stems. Briefly fry the diced bell pepper with the spring onions, then add the cream cheese to the pan, stir until creamy, and season everything. Stuff the mushrooms with the mixture. Top with the remaining cream and season to taste. Bring the sauce to a boil briefly, pour it into a casserole dish, and place the mushrooms on top. Bake the mushrooms at 180°C for a good half hour, until they are slightly browned on the outside. Serve with rice or simply with fresh baguette.
