Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 red bell peppers
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 250 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, chopped, with basil
  • Parsley, chopped
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peppers stuffed with minced meat and feta

Finely dice the onion. Sauté in a little olive oil until translucent, then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Once the minced meat is browned, add the tomatoes and simmer briefly. Season with salt, pepper, chopped parsley, paprika, and chili powder. Then add the feta cheese and let it melt. Wash the peppers and cut off a top, remove the seeds and white parts, and remove the green stems from the top. Finely dice the tomatoes and feta. Place the chopped tomatoes and basil in a baking dish. Then fill the peppers with the minced meat mixture and cover. Secure with toothpicks if necessary and place in the baking dish. Bake in the oven at 200°C for approx. 15 minutes.
