Stuffed pizza pretzel

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 portion of pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 50 g tomato sauce
  • 100g Gouda
  • 100g salami
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 1 pinch(s) of spice(s) (oregano, marjoram, etc.)
  • 4 tbsp baking soda

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

For 3 filled pretzels

Cut the Gouda, salami, and ham into strips. Roll out the pizza dough and cut lengthwise into 3 equal strips. Take one sheet of dough, stretch it out, flatten it slightly, and top with tomato sauce, salami, ham, and Gouda. Then form the dough into a long log and seal the ends so that all the ingredients are enclosed. Roll the dough as long and narrow as possible and shape it into a pretzel. Bring 2 liters of water and the baking soda to a boil and place the pretzels in the baking soda solution for 30-40 seconds (submerge them completely so that everything is covered with the solution). Remove and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the pretzels in the oven at 200°C (fan oven) for 12-15 minutes. If desired, you can sprinkle grated Gouda over the pretzels 5 minutes before the end of the baking time and bake them with the pretzels.
