with “Sunday rolls” makes about 12 rolls

Cut the Sunday rolls (there are 6 rolls per pack) in half to make 12 small pieces of dough. Roll each roll out into a small flatbread. Place a piece of mozzarella and some cooked ham or salami on each roll, fold over, and roll into a ball. Grate the Parmesan cheese with a coarse grater and mix with chili powder or thyme, depending on your taste. Roll the balls in the Parmesan mixture and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes. Serve warm or cold. A garlic or herb sauce goes well with dipping sauce.
