Stuffed roll with fried egg from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls
  • some butter
  • 4 small eggs, size S
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 150 g bacon cubes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 6 mushrooms

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat), cut off the top third of the rolls. Hollow out the rolls and spread the inside with butter. Dice the tomatoes and mushrooms. Fill the rolls with cheese, bacon, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Finally, crack an egg over the top, season with salt and pepper, and bake in the oven until the egg is set.
