Stuffed salmon rolls

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • some oak leaf lettuce (a few leaves)
  • ½ bunch of dill
  • 8 slice(s) smoked salmon
  • 4 tbsp horseradish (creamed horseradish)
  • 4 tbsp caviar (trout caviar)
  • Lemon(s) for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Christmas appetizer

Peel the cucumber. Cut 1/3 into thin strips, then slice the remaining cucumber diagonally. Finely chop the oak leaf lettuce. Finely chop the dill, leaving a little for garnish. Halve the salmon slices and spread with creamed horseradish. Arrange the dill, oak leaf strips, and cucumber strips on top and roll up. Arrange the rolls on the cucumber slices. Distribute the trout caviar on top. Serve garnished with lemon slices and dill. Tip: A marinade made from 1 small diced onion, 1 teaspoon mustard, 2 tablespoons vinegar, salt, pepper, and sugar, and 4 tablespoons oil also works well.
