Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 3 packs of bacon (slices)
  • 1 cup sour cream (Creme frischli herbs)
  • 1 cup sour cream (Creme frischli Natur)
  • e.g. parsley
  • e.g. chives
  • 1 bag(s) cheese, grated
  • 10 Bockwurst
  • 1 bottle of barbecue sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic powder or granules
  • 1 m.-large onion(s), chopped

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut each sausage lengthwise, but don’t cut all the way through, about halfway through. In a bowl, mix the Creme frischli Natural, Creme frischli Herbs, chopped onions, grated cheese, salt, pepper, garlic seasoning, parsley, and chives to taste. Fill the sausages with the mixture. Wrap the sausages tightly with the bacon slices. Be sure to wrap the ends of the sausages, otherwise the mixture will leak out in the oven! Place the sausages on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with barbecue sauce, and bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 20-25 minutes, until the bacon is crispy.
