Ingredients

  • 50 g Cold butter
  • 50 g Fine sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 150 g Yogurt
  • 150 g Apple cubes, chocolate cream, jam ...

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients together except for the yoghurt.
  • Now knead in the yogurt and work everything into a smooth dough.
  • Divide into 10 servings.
  • Roll out each portion into a tongue about 6x25 cm.

Now the following can be filled:

  • 1. Variant: apple cubes
  • Brush the center of the dough tongue with a little melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and a little sugar. Spread the apple cubes on top in a strip.
  • 2. Variation: chocolate cream or jam:
  • Spread 1 / 2 teaspoons of chocolate cream or jam lengthways on the dough tongue.

Close and roll up

  • Fold the long sides over the filling so that they overlap. Seal the ends.
  • Now roll up the strands of dough into snails.
  • Bake in a preheated oven with 160 ° fan (180 ° O / U heat) for about 15 minutes until golden.
