Stuffed tomatoes with feta cheese and onion filling

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 3 points sheep’s cheese
  • 3 onions
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • Cheese (Emmental), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Wash the tomatoes, cut off the tops, remove the stems, and scoop out the tomatoes with a spoon. Finely chop the onions and fry until translucent. Dice the feta cheese, then add it to the onions and mix until the feta cheese is stringy. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Spoon into the tomatoes and sprinkle with Emmental cheese. Finally, place the lid on top and place the stuffed tomatoes in a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15 minutes. Serve with rice and fillet.
