Stuffed turkey breast in paprika cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 turkey schnitzels
  • 1 pack of herb cream cheese
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • 400 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) top and bottom heat. Spread the turkey cutlets with the herb cream cheese. Dice the ham and place it on top of the cream cheese. Fold the turkey cutlets together and place them in a casserole dish. Pour the cream into a saucepan and bring to a boil, then stir in the paprika and tomato paste and let it reduce slightly. Season with salt and pepper and pour over the meat. Cook in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 25-30 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta.
