Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g almonds, ground
  • 120 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp orange blossom water, maybe a little more
  • 20 walnuts, shelled
  • 120 g powdered sugar
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sweet Arabic dessert, nice to give as a gift, can be served like chocolates with coffee or tea

Combine the almonds, sugar, and orange blossom water in a firm paste. Add more liquid as needed. Shape about 1 teaspoon of this mixture roughly like a walnut half and place it between two walnut halves. Press down lightly. Brush a plate with oil and place the nuts on it. Let the powdered sugar caramelize, then pour a little over each nut. Once it hardens, the nuts are set and can be easily removed from the oiled plate. Place in praline sleeves.
