Stuffing for a turkey – but also a generally popular side dish for Christmas or Thanksgiving

Toast the white bread in butter and place it in a large bowl. Melt half a cup of butter, then sauté the onions, celery, and parsley in it. Pour the mixture over the toasted white bread cubes, then add the sage, thyme, marjoram, salt, and pepper. Stir everything well and let it infuse. If the mixture is a bit too dry, you can add a little broth—but be careful—you don’t want it to become too mushy! You can now either stuff poultry with it or serve the stuffing separately as a side dish. Regarding the cup size, I would like to say that I personally use American cups—I think a regular coffee cup would be quite large.
