Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 suckling pig shoulder, approx. 2.5 kg
- 2 tbsp oil
- n. B. Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 15 hours 10 minutes
Salt the suckling pig shoulder all over and refrigerate overnight. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit). Lightly oil the roasting pan and the shoulder. You can score the skin on the shoulder, but it’s not necessary. Place it in the oven, skin-side up. Roast for about 3 hours.
