Sugarloaf salad with nuts

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 head of sugarloaf lettuce, use only the light green inside
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ jar apple juice
  • 50 g walnuts
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp honey, or 2 tbsp to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the sugarloaf in half and cut into thin strips, wash, and drain. For the salad dressing, mix all the other ingredients and season to taste. Fold in the sugarloaf and let it sit for 1/2 hour.
