Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 large tomatoes
- ½ cucumber(s)
- ½ romaine lettuce
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 350 g yogurt, Turkish or Greek
- 200 g sheep cheese, soft Turkish
- salt and pepper
- 15 green olives without stones
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
e.g. for grilling!
Carefully wash and chop all the vegetables. Place the diced tomatoes, cucumber slices, and finely chopped olives in a large bowl. Cut the romaine lettuce into strips and add them. Cut the feta cheese (available in Turkish shops) into thin slices (use a very sharp knife) and mix some of them into the salad, then place some on a plate and serve. For the dressing, mix the yogurt with the parsley and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add to the salad ingredients, mix gently, and let it marinate.
