Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g flour
  • 35 g cocoa powder
  • 5 g baking soda
  • 150 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 60 g white sugar
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), pulp
  • 150 g chocolate

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 47 minutes

Chop the chocolate into small pieces. Thoroughly combine the flour, cocoa, and baking soda and sift well until very finely blended. Mix the softened butter with the sugar, powdered sugar, salt, vanilla seeds, and chocolate. Add the flour-cocoa mixture and quickly knead everything with your hands. The dough should be kneaded as little as possible. Form the dough into a 6 cm thick log. Wrap in cling film and chill for about 2 hours. Preheat oven to 180°C. Cut the log into 1 cm thick slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between them. Do not bake the cookies for longer than 12 minutes. The cookies will still be very soft at this point. Let cool and enjoy.
