Exotic raw kohlrabi dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large kohlrabi
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 1 small mango(s)
  • n. B. Cinnamon powder
  • e.g. agave syrup
  • possibly mint, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the kohlrabi and then slice it very thinly using a mandolin. Peel the mango and cut the flesh away from the core in chunks. Place the mango pieces and the sliced banana in a narrow bowl and puree with an immersion blender until smooth. Layer the kohlrabi slices on plates, alternating with the fruit cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon to finish. If you like, and don’t have ripe fruit on hand, you can drizzle with a little agave syrup. Mint leaves go well with this, and not just as a garnish. I recommend sprinkling the finely chopped mint leaves over the dessert.
