Super fresh summer salad as a barbecue side dish

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 4 m.-sized tomatoes
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 1 lime(s), the juice
  • 4 tbsp olive oil (or sunflower oil)
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • possibly coriander leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the cucumber, halve it, and deseed it. Peel the bell peppers with a vegetable peeler (for easier digestion), and deseed the tomatoes. Cut everything into small cubes and mix in a salad bowl. Deseed and finely chop the chili peppers. Finely chop the onion. Add both to the salad. Season the salad with pepper, salt, a little sugar, the lime juice, and the oil. If desired, stir in coriander leaves (to taste).
