Sweet and spicy Chinese cabbage salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 Chinese cabbage
  • 1 can peanuts, salted, roasted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp mustard, hot
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp, leveled vegetable broth, granulated
  • 3 tbsp mineral water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Great salad to take away

Wash the Chinese cabbage and dry it only roughly. Then cut the leaves into fine, approximately 1/2 cm wide strips. Chop the entire can of peanuts either by hand or in an electric chopper, but only very briefly, as you don’t want to create a “flour.” Sprinkle the nuts over the salad. Mix the remaining ingredients into the sauce. If it’s too thick, add a little more mineral water. Mix everything thoroughly and let it marinate on the way to the party; the Chinese cabbage will stay crunchy. Tip: If you know all your guests like it spicy, add some finely grated chili pepper to the salad; it tastes great!
