Sweet Croissant Casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 croissants for baking (mini croissants)
  • 1 large apple
  • n. B. Jam (blackberry jam)
  • 400 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the croissants in half and spread with the blackberry jam. Replace the lid and cut in half again. Layer the croissants cut-side down in a baking dish. Peel the apple and cut into thin slices. Place the slices between the croissants. Mix the milk with the eggs and sugar and spread over the croissants. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Serve hot.
