Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 jars of cherries, each 650 g total content
- 20 g cornstarch
- 500 g quark
- 500 g mascarpone
- 12 tbsp milk
- 4 tbsp cane sugar
- 1 cup of cream
- 300 g amaretti biscuits
- 150 g cantuccini with chocolate
- 150 g cantuccini with almonds
- Brown cane sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 6 hours 23 minutes
Drain the cherries thoroughly. Blend the cherry juice with the cornstarch until smooth and bring to a boil while stirring. Then add the cherries and let cool. Whisk the mascarpone, quark, sugar, and milk until smooth. Whip the cream and carefully fold in. Fill a lasagna dish first with the mixed biscuits, then with the compote, and finally with the quark. Dust evenly with brown sugar. Let stand for at least 5-6 hours. It’s great to make ahead.
