Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes

a recipe for a 3.5 L. Crock Pot / Slowcooker

Sprinkle the roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and paprika and place it in the ceramic pot. Then drizzle the maple syrup evenly over it and brush the top of the roast with the mustard. Finally, sprinkle the brown sugar over the dish. Cover. The roasting time is approximately 4 hours on HIGH, or 5-6 hours on MEDIUM. To make a tasty sauce, strain the resulting cooking liquid into a separate pot. Meanwhile, keep the roast warm in the crock pot on the lowest heat. Add the cream, bring to a boil, and stir in the gravy thickener with a whisk. Simmer for approximately 1-2 minutes, adjusting the seasoning to taste. Serve the sauce with the roast.
