Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg sweet potatoes
- 1 apple
- 100 g walnuts
- 100 ml cream
- Parsley
- Thyme
- 40 g butter flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the sweet potatoes and apple, cut them into small pieces, and cook them in salted water. Drain the water, add the cream, herbs, and about 60g of walnuts, and mash or puree. Finally, fold in the butter flakes. Chop the remaining walnuts and garnish the puree. You can find the roast pork in brandy and cream sauce in another recipe of mine.
