Sweet quark – oil dough

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 40 g sugar
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 small apples
  • 4 tbsp, slivered almond flakes
  • 2 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • possibly oil for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

e.g. for apple turnovers

Mix the quark, sugar, and vanilla sugar with a mixer (dough hook). Add the oil and milk. Finally, add the flour and baking powder and mix well. This dough is ideal for apple turnovers, for example. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the dough very thinly. Cut into 4 rectangles. Slice the apples into small pieces and mix well with the flaked almonds, sugar, and lemon juice. Spread the filling between the rectangles. Then roll up the apple turnovers, pressing the sides firmly to prevent the filling from leaking out. Place the apple turnovers in the oven on baking paper and bake for 20-25 minutes. The turnovers will be especially delicious if you brush them with oil 5 minutes before the end.
