Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 cup apple juice, clear or cloudy *
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 cup(s) wheat flour
- 2 tsp syrup, brown, or sugar, or other sweetener
- 1 cup soy milk (soy drink)
- 1 pinch of salt
- Fat for frying

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
simple, very easy to adapt, e.g. as a wholefood recipe
The cup used as a measuring cup holds approximately 240 ml. Mix the baking powder with the flour. Whisk or blend all ingredients until a smooth batter forms. Heat a little oil in a pan and ladle in enough batter. Swirl the batter around to spread it evenly. Cook on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Serve with powdered sugar, fruit, jam, hazelnut spread, or similar, as desired. *Note: Make sure the apple juice has not been clarified with gelatin, otherwise it will no longer be vegan.
