Sweet yeast dough

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 80 g butter, warm
  • 250 ml milk
  • e.g. cardamom

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

My favorite, egg-free and easy to prepare

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a food processor or mixer until you have a nice yeast dough. Let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size. This also works well in a bread maker. Then I remove the well-risen dough. I always use this recipe for all the yeast doughs I make. The dough is very easy to work with (rolling out, etc.), and it stays nice and moist for longer without the egg. The baked goods still taste great the next day. I freeze the still-warm baked goods for later use.
