Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg chard
  • 3 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • some margarine
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the chard into strips. Chop the onions and garlic and sauté in oil until translucent. Add the chard and sauté. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Peel and slice the potatoes. Boil for about 10 minutes. Mix the cooled chard with the egg and layer the potatoes in a greased baking dish. Season each layer with salt and pepper and drizzle with cream. Finally, top with breadcrumbs and cheese. Bake for about 15 minutes at 180°C.
