Chard salad vegan
The first recipe is a vegan salad. Sweet potatoes and bread with avocado, for example, taste very good as a side dish.

Quantities: for two servings
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of chard
- 1/2 turnip greens
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 onion
- two sprigs of parsley and two sprigs of mint.
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp nuts and seeds of your choice
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- In the first step, bring 1l of water to a boil. Cut the chard, carrots, and kohlrabi into strips.
- Mix the vegetables together and pour the boiling water over them so that they can continue to simmer for a short time. Make sure it stays crisp.
- Drain the water with a colander when the vegetables are of the desired consistency. After that, quench it with cold water.
- Drain the vegetables well. It may even help if you gently wring it out with your hands. Then put it in a bowl.
- Finally, season the salad with salt and soy sauce. Depending on your preferences, you can also use other spices.
- After you have mixed everything, pluck and distribute the parsley and mint as well as the nuts, seeds, and onions over the chard salad.
Chard salad vegetarian
A vegetarian variant is the Greek chard salad.
Cooking time: 30 to 60 minutes
Preparation time: about 10 minutes
Quantities: for four servings
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of chard
- vegetable broth
- 1/2 cucumber
- 4 tomatoes
- 125 grams feta cheese
- Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper
- Boil 1 liter of water for the vegetable broth. While the water is boiling, you can chop the chard, vegetables, and feta cheese into small pieces.
- So that the salad tastes particularly good, it is worth letting it soak for 30 to 60 minutes. Just before serving, stir in the cucumbers.
- Let the chard simmer briefly in the vegetable broth. Drain the water and mix the chard, feta, and tomatoes with spices and a little olive oil.
Chard salad with chicken breast

Ingredients:
- 400 grams of chicken breast
- 200 grams of chard
- 100 grams of mango
- 4 sprigs of fresh thyme
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch each of salt and pepper
- To prepare, wash the chard and thyme thoroughly. Peel and then cut the mango and chicken into strips.
- Now heat the olive oil in a pan.
- Once the oil is hot, you can sear the chicken strips. Add the thyme to the pan and season the meat with salt and pepper.
- Finally, add the mango and fry it for about a minute.
