Swiss Sausage Salad with Cheese and Radishes

The perfect swiss sausage salad with cheese and radishes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For seasoning:

  • 100 g Mountain cheese, old
  • 60 g Vegetable onion, brown
  • 100 g Radishes, red
  • 60 g Icicle, (white radish, small)
  • 1 small Cucumber, about 80 g
  • 1 small Pickled cucumber, from the jar
  • 1 medium-sized Green peppers, pickled
  • 2 medium-sized Cloves of garlic, fresh
  • 8 g Salt
  • 2 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Brine, from the pickle jar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Pinches Caraway seed
  • 2 tbsp Dill, finely chopped, fresh or frozen
  • 2 Pinches Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice
  • 3 tbsp Salad oil, neutral

To garnish:

  • Dill sprigs, fresh
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Paprika, red, mild
  • Flowers and leaves
  1. All sausage, cheese and vegetable ingredients should be cleaned if necessary and cut into thin strips that are no more than 4 cm long.
  2. Transfer to a larger bowl and mix. Then add the seasoning ingredients, except for the salad oil, and mix.
  3. Let it steep for at least 1 hour. Add the salad oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread on the serving bowls, garnish and serve cool as a starter.
