Szechuan chicken nugget sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 60 ml balsamic vinegar
  • e.g. soy sauce
  • 30 ml plum wine
  • 50 ml Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • e.g. chili flakes, red
  • e.g. chopped ginger
  • e.g. butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Chop the garlic cloves and sauté in butter. Add the balsamic vinegar and soy sauce to taste. Add the plum wine and let the sauce reduce slightly. Stir in the sriracha sauce. Add the sugar. Season with chili flakes and ginger to taste. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Adjust the quantities of the ingredients to your liking.
