Szeged Pot

- Oil
- 500 g Minced beef
- 1 Can Peeled tomatoes (800g)
- 1 Can Sauerkraut (470g)
- Salt, cayenne pepper
- Sweet and hot peppers
- 200 g Sour cream, sour cream or creme fraiche
- Spaetzle or dumplings
- Fry the minced meat in a pan with oil until crumbly and then remove.
- Finely chop the onion and sauté in the same saucepan with oil until translucent. Then sprinkle on the paprika powder and roast with it.
- Add the minced meat again and the tomatoes and juice. Season everything with salt and cayenne pepper. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add the sauerkraut, slightly chopped up. Simmer for another 10 minutes and season to taste if necessary.
- In the meantime, prepare the spaetzle or dumplings.
- Arrange the Szegediner pot with the side dishes and add a dollop of sour cream on top. Finished
