Tagliatelle with Homemade Tomato Sauce

The perfect tagliatelle with homemade tomato sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Cherry tomatoes red
  • 1 size Fresh onion
  • 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
  • 3 Branches Basil
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 400 g Tagliatelle
  • Salt
  • 100 g Grated Parmesan
  • 4 NS. Serrano ham slices
  1. Cut the cleaned tomatoes as well as the peeled onion and garlic clove into small pieces. Pluck the basil leaves from the branches. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan. Sauté the onion and garlic over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add the tomato pieces and simmer uncovered over a low heat for about 20 minutes , season with salt, pepper and sugar. Finely chop the basil leaves and mix in. Cook the ribbon noodles with plenty of salted water according to the instructions on the packet until they are firm to the bite. Drain the noodles and let them drain. Arrange the pasta with the tomato sauce on a plate, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the tomato sauce. Pierce the ham slices on wooden skewers and place on the edge of the plate. And serve.
