Cooking: Homemade Tagliatelle with Tomato Sauce

for the pasta

  • 200 g Pasta flour
  • 1 pinch Ground turmeric spice
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Olive oil

for the sauce

  • 1 Can Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Onion red
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • My spice mixture – mild … RZ in my KB
  • My spice mix – hot … RZ in my KB
  • Cocoa-Chilli-Salt … RZ in my KB
  • 1 tsp Good mood – spice blossom mixture
  1. First prepare the tomato sauce. To do this, peel and chop the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a pan or a small saucepan and sauté both. Then add tomato paste and spices and sauté gently.
  2. Then add the tomatoes, bring to the boil, set the stove to the lowest setting and let the whole thing simmer gently with the lid on for about 1-1.5 hours.
  3. Mix the flour and turmeric for the pasta. Add eggs and oil and knead into a dough. Knead for a long time, this will make the dough better.
  4. Now wrap it in foil and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Then roll out and cut into thin strips or use a pasta machine, following the instructions.
  6. Bring the salted water to the boil, add the pasta and cook for about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Place pasta and tomato sauce on plates and serve.
