Tahitian Toast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of peach
  • 4 slices of toast
  • 4 tsp butter
  • 2 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 4 slice(s) cheese, (a light 30% fat content)
  • 4 tsp desiccated coconut

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

First, spread the butter evenly on a slice of toast. Next, add half a slice of cooked ham, then the peach, then the desiccated coconut, and finally the cheese. Place the whole thing on a rack (lined with baking paper) in an oven preheated to 180°C. Once the cheese has melted over the pineapple, it will begin to brown. It’ll be done after about 6 minutes. Remove and let cool for about 1 minute, as the mixture under the cheese topping can be quite hot.
