Tangerine Slices
The perfect tangerine slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough:
- 125 g Yogurt 1.5%
- 280 g Sugar
- 3 Eggs size L.
- 60 ml Sunflower oil
- 0,5 tube Taste of rum
- 300 g Flour
- 2 tsp easy go. Baking powder
- 350 g Mandarins a.d. Can of drained weight
- Some juice from the mandarins to soak
Molding:
- 150 g Powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp Juice v.d. Mandarins
- 12 Pcs. Mandarin slices for topping
Dough:
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° O / bottom heat. Gently butter a rectangular form 20 x 29 cm (or a 24-inch springform pan) and line it with baking paper. Put the mandarins in a colander, drain well and save the juice. Remove 12 slices from the mandarins and set aside.
- In a bowl, whip the yoghurt, sugar, eggs, oil and rum flavoring until lightly frothy. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture in 3 portions. Pour the dough into the mold and spread the mandarin slices (except for the 12 branched ones) on the dough. Put the tin on the 2nd rail from the bottom in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Then do the wooden stick sample. No more dough must adhere when it is pulled out, otherwise the baking time should be extended by 5 minutes.
- After baking, prick the hot cake several times with a wooden stick and do not drizzle it with the tangerine juice too little, tablespoon at a time.
- Mix the icing sugar and juice into a viscous icing, brush the slightly warm cake with it and immediately distribute the retained mandrin slices on it.
