Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section, 275 g
  • 200g Camembert(s)
  • 200 g crème fraîche with herbs
  • 3 eggs, size M
  • 1 fig(s)
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • some fat and breadcrumbs for the form

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for a 12-cup muffin tin

Using a serving ring or cup, cut out 12 circles from the puff pastry, leaving a 2-3 cm high edge in the muffin tin when you place the dough in. Grease the muffin tin and lightly dust with breadcrumbs, then place the dough circles in the puff pastry. Finely slice the cheese and divide them between the puff pastry circles. Cut the fig into 6 slices and halve each to make 12 slices. Place a piece of fig in each cavity on top of the cheese. Beat the eggs with the crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper, then divide them into the tins. Bake the tartlets on the middle rack of a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) (180°C fan-assisted oven) for about 20-25 minutes, until the tops are lightly browned. The tartlets are delicious served hot or cold. They taste best with fig mustard.
