Simple marinade for fish and meat; quick and delicious preparation in the oven, in the pan or on the grill

Rinse the meat thoroughly and pat dry. Finely chop or grate the ginger and garlic. Add the maple syrup, soy sauce, and oil and mix with the vermouth. Marinate the meat so it is completely covered in the marinade and let it rest for at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight. Drain the meat and cook it in the oven, in a pan, or on the grill. Brush with any remaining marinade, if desired. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with rice, fried noodles, or baked potatoes.
