Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 250 ml red wine
  • 250 ml water
  • Oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sauce for pasta

Peel and finely slice the carrot. Peel and finely chop the onion. Fry it with the carrot in a little heated oil until nicely browned. Add the minced meat and fry. Peel and crush the garlic, then add it and fry everything thoroughly. Then stir in the tomato paste and fry briefly. Deglaze with 250 ml red wine and add 250 ml water. Mix in the spices and let the sauce simmer gently for at least 1-1/2 hours (if the sauce becomes too thick, add more water as needed). Serve the sauce with spaghetti cooked al dente.
