Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 10 g fresh ginger
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 80 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Japanese sauce, mainly used for sushi

Peel the onion and dice it into small pieces. Peel the garlic and ginger and finely dice them as well. Fry everything together in heated olive oil until golden brown. Add the soy sauce and sugar and simmer for another 5-7 minutes. Finally, strain the sauce and use only the pure sauce.
