Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 250 ml water, lukewarm
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 spring onions
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 400 g kidney beans
- 200 g corn
- 150g mozzarella
- 2 tbsp basil, chopped
- 200 ml sauce (salsa)
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Mix flour, dry yeast, water, and oil into a dough and let it rise, covered, in a warm place for at least 30 minutes. The dough should rise considerably; let it stand longer if necessary. In the meantime, drain the kidney beans and sweetcorn. Wash and trim the spring onions, then slice them into fine rings. Wash and deseed the bell peppers, and dice them. Dice the mozzarella cheese as well. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat: 180°C). Once the dough is ready, divide it into 8 equal portions and roll them out on a floured surface to a diameter of approximately 12 cm. Spread the salsa sauce evenly over the bases and spread evenly. Then arrange the kidney beans, sweetcorn, spring onions, and diced bell peppers on top. Sprinkle each pizza with chopped basil and top with the mozzarella cheese. Place in the hot oven and bake for about 20 minutes until the desired brownness is reached.
