Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 10 g ginger
  • 4 lemons
  • 2 chili peppers, fresh, (red Thai chili)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • e.g. coriander leaves
  • n. B. garlic
  • Salt
  • Sugar

hot & spicy, summer salad

Wash the cucumber and tomatoes, remove the seeds, and cut into desired-sized pieces. Finely chop the ginger, spring onions, and chili peppers. Now squeeze the lemon juice and mix with the sugar and soy sauce, then season to taste. Season to taste with salt and sugar, if desired. Mix everything together. If desired, you can also stir in finely chopped garlic and torn coriander leaves. Tip: Strips of chicken breast or strips of beef rump also make a great combination. Brown them thoroughly and simply spread them on top.
